Nurnberg (1716), this beautiful celestial chart by Homann is a colour version of Johann Gabriel Doppelmayr's earlier chart of the solar system and constellations in the zodiac. Within a concentric ring of Baroque renderings of the twelve zodiac signs, the planetary paths from Earth and inner planets to Jupiter and Saturn are displayed in the lower right corner a personification of Urania holds a diagram of the Copernicus system.
