The Lion’s Head at Button’s Coffee-House, reproduced in William Harrison Ukers’ All About Coffee (1922). Of the piece Jospeh Addison remarked in a Guardian article from 1713: “An excellent piece of workmanship, designed by a great hand in imitation of the antique Egyptian lion, the face of it being compounded out of a lion and a wizard.”.
